From Writer to Author!
Edition 007
It's official. This week, I went from a writer to a published author! While the construct of the story has been in my head for the better part of four years, the majority of the writing has taken place since June of '23. I was first introduced to my publisher and writing coach almost exactly one year ago. Here is the link to the book over at Amazon:
And with that, some early reviews are in! Here are a couple of excerpts:
"This gripping story is not only an exciting page-turner, but also a thought-provoking exploration of AI and its potential impact on our world. Puhala masterfully weaves together a thrilling narrative with insightful commentary on one of the most transformative technologies of our time."
--Bruce S. (LinkedIn)
"I learned how much I do not know about AI. It was very informative since I am of the generation where technology was a black wall phone on a party line. I actually took a lot of notes as I read. The story poses a question in which we all should be interested... A lot of things to ponder, but with a good story and heroes and villains to keep you engaged. I definitely recommend the book."
--Marty C. (Amazon Review)
It's no secret that a lot goes into getting a book to market and out into the world. I am thankful for such an encouraging support system around the globe! Friends near and far have been a constant source of inspiration and motivation to keep my eye on the finish line.
Now, I go from book writer to book marketer and frankly, I am a little out of my element here. So, pardon some of the frequency that you might hear from me in the coming weeks as I try to get this book to as many readers as possible.
For everyone that has purchased a copy so far (or two) -- Thank you! For anyone that has read the book, I do have one more favor to ask: Would you consider writing a review on Amazon? Reviews are one of the best sources of trust when people are considering making a purchase and help with the Amazon algorithm when making recommendations. Of course, review the book honestly and with candor. I am grateful that you have taken time and energy with my book. I am also grateful for your support!
Long live long form.
